VinFast’s domestic market share is formidable: it held 36% of Vietnam’s total automotive market in 2025, outpacing global incumbents such as Toyota and Hyundai. Its ecosystem includes V-Green (charging infrastructure) and GSM (electric taxi fleet), which together address two major EV adoption barriers: charging anxiety and consumer unfamiliarity. V-Green’s 150,000+ charging ports create a structural moat, while GSM’s fleet accounted for roughly 27% of VinFast’s four-wheel deliveries in 2025, stabilizing demand.

The company’s 10-year/125,000-mile warranty and flexible battery leasing further differentiate its ownership proposition, particularly in emerging markets. In India and Indonesia, VinFast’s rapid local manufacturing build-out and competitive pricing have enabled it to quickly capture 4–5% EV market share, despite strong incumbents like Tata and BYD.
