Neonode’s principal competitive advantage lies in its proprietary optical sensing technology, branded as zForce. This platform enables contactless touch, gesture recognition, and in-cabin monitoring, offering high precision and low power consumption. The company holds over 100 patents and has licensed its technology to OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, with over 95 million devices shipped since 2010. This intellectual property portfolio provides some protection against commoditization and copycat competitors.

Neonode’s solutions are differentiated by their ability to be customized for specific customer requirements and integrated into a wide range of applications, from automotive displays to industrial and office equipment.
