The company’s content has a long “evergreen” tail—legacy programs from as far back as 2014 remain among the most viewed, supporting a content efficiency multiple of 2.0x (gross profit to content cost), compared to 0.6x for Netflix. This efficiency underpins Gaia’s high gross margin (86% in 2024) and cash contribution margin (93%).

Gaia’s member base is highly targeted: predominantly educated women aged 45–65 with above-average income, a segment underserved by mainstream platforms.
